| 2009 marks the 400th anniversary of Galileo's observations of the night sky using a telescope, and it's fitting therefore that the year has been marked as the International Year of Astronomy. Project Galileo will undoubtedly be involved in what will prove to be a very exciting resurgance of interest amongst the public, so watch this space for further developments.
